Amidst a pine and landmark forest, The Rene M. Caisse Memorial Theatre, opened September 2007, and is the newest cultural jewel in the Muskoka. As part of the new 200,000 square foot Bracebridge Recreation Centre and Secondary School complex, this elegant 300 seat theatre fulfills a long-standing need for a performing art facility in Bracebridge.

OUR DONORS….Thanks to Mr. T.P. Maloney, President of Essiac Canada International, the campaign was launched in Janurary of 2005 with a leadership level gift of $500,000. Mr. Maloney dedicated the theatre to one of Bracebridge’s most celebrated citizens, Rene M. Caisse. A pioneering nurse, Caisse discovered a herbal formula known as Essiac®.
